Course Content:        This course covers the basic fundamentals of image processing which include image digitization, description, enhancement, segmentation, image transforms, filtering, restoration, coding and retrieval. Concepts are illustrated by laboratory programming exercises in which these techniques are applied to practical situations, including examples from industrial and biomedical image processing.

Prerequisites:             CSc 3410 Data Structure

Withdrawals:              The last day for regular withdrawal is Monday October 15, 2007.

Requirements:           Students are expected to attend all classes. Regular completion of all assignments, projects and tests is absolutely essential to succeed in this course.
